Prof. Sabine Hahn

(PhD, CNS, RN) Working Group leader of WG 3: Management consequences of coercion, patients/service users and staff support after coercive incidents, learning from reflecting on coercive incidents. Sabine has a doctorate in nursing and health sciences and is a qualified nursing expert in mental health nursing. She has 20 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse and as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in acute, rehabilitation and outpatient settings of psychiatric health care. She has been active in university teaching since 2000, and since 2006 she leads the Unit of Applied Research and Development in Nursing. Since 2012 she heads the School of Nursing at Bern University of Applied Sciences (CH) at the Department of Health. Since 2005 she has been researching in coercive measures, prevention and de-escalation in different health care settings as well as in the topics of psychosocial health and service user involvement.
